The AI started out with about 50/50 mix of mounted and foot, but with each attack they brought more mounted and less foot so each successive assault was less effective than the previous one.ĭuring the first assault the AI managed to take a gate and bring some mounted troops inside the wall but two mounted units appeared to get stuck on the inner face of the wall and remained that way until I destroyed all of them. I had a minor power try to conduct three wall assaults in about four turns on a poorly defended frontier territory. Playing H/H the enemy AI has a hard time conducting an attack against a walled settlement. I had a formation of about eight line infantry units in open ground except for a few trees, seven of the units marched forward while the eighth (second from the end) proceeded to march in the opposite direction for 100 yards or so before making a 90 degree turn and marching off to nowhere in particular.

I've seen some strange pathfinding bugs in towns and also in relatively open terrain. The rake was there before the battle and but he seemed to disappear entirely (not on the list anymore) after I defeated the army in the same turn. I also had a rake disappear after eliminating an enemy general and attacking the army in the same turn. My rakes often seem to get 'stuck' to some structures for multiple turns after a successful sabotage mission. The rake implementation seems to have some bugs.

Overall the game is a fun time killer but I haven't played more than a few hours and I've already seen a lot of weirdness.
